Press Release: September 26, 2015
Roberts electrical are pleased to announce that in response to customer demand they are now offering their emergency electrical services around the clock.
This decision was taken in response to customer demand and is an acknowledgement that electrical systems can go wrong at any time of the day or night. Now homeowners, landlords, and businesses know where they can turn if they suffer electrical failure or face a difficult situation late at night or on a Sunday.
Electrical emergencies are more common than many people think and can be the result of system overload, wear and tear or extreme weather conditions. Need may be classified as urgent or emergency when damage to stock or property is likely or where vulnerable people may be effected.
Examples of electrical emergencies include:
1. Electrical failure at a care home where residents rely on electricity for heat, medical equipment, and more.
2. Problems with electrical supply at a restaurant where loss of fridges and freezers could cause food to spoil with resulting costs for stock replacement and lost business.
3. Electrical circuitry issues that present a fire risk, or where the system is overloading.
4. A burst pipe at home where water is in danger of mixing with live electrical equipment.
Many power outages are the result of wider failure and cannot be resolved by an emergency electrician – if the public experience problems with power supply the first call should be to their electricity supplier for information.
Exposed live wires should never be touched. If damaged overhead or underground electrical cables are discovered and life is in danger always call the emergency services.
Roberts Electrical are an Oxfordshire based domestic and commercial electrical contractor providing a complete range of electrical services across the region.
