Press Release: October 05, 2016
As well as taking care of the creative concept for private and residential areas, the Italian firm Bertelè - an ambassador for luxury Italian design worldwide - also brings its exquisite, fine-quality craftsmanship to the world of contract furnishings.
The company recently furnished the Lounge Area of two prestigious Italian boutique hotels: HT6 in the heart of the Jewish ghetto in Rome (Via del Tempio, 6) and GBH in Vicenza (Via A. Giuriolo, 10). For those seeking a truly unique hospitality experience, Bertelè has created an inviting, relaxing ambience that places the accent on the guests, helping them feel completely at ease.
The HT6 boutique hotel, with its enchantingly classic, Art Deco inspired allure, boasts a delightful Lounge Bar that is the central feature of the common areas, offering the perfect setting to organise evenings on a theme where guests can enjoy typical wines and quality spirits. The Neoclassical artworks and an abstract mirror and lacquered wood sculpture on the wall reminiscent of Twenties architecture bring a richly aristocratic, exclusive touch to the setting. The lounge is furnished with a magnificent sideboard in Art Deco style, as well as green ponyskin club chairs alternating with deep red seats with a geometric texture, round occasional tables in polished wood with brass edges and an elaborate base offering a striking interaction between solids and voids.
The Glam Boutique Hotel, on the other hand, has been given a nineteenth-century allure that is a dream come true. It features exclusive, fine-quality details and a chic, sophisticated style that embellishes the lounge area, furnished with an imposing bookcase filled with antique volumes, a period gramophone and some splendid antiques. Equally striking is the fireplace, set into marvellous gunmetal-coloured wood panelling, as well as the magnificent grand piano that plays a starring role in the “Aperitivi sul palco” (Aperitifs on Stage) events, accompanied by soft, warm lighting.
“Bolstered by our creativity and experience, we are able to offer exquisitely crafted finishes, materials, decorations and furnishings to bring a surprising, striking touch to any setting. Our aim is to engage and enhance all five senses, creating lasting, unforgettable memories and emotions for every guest”, explained Bertelè designer Elena Baldini.
