Exponential growth helped by Lockdown and Brexit
LONDON, UK: ParcelOffice.net this week announced their millionth shipping label, hitting the milestone just as their service comes out of beta. This milestone is a major step for ParcelOffice.net on its mission to help UK SMEs intelligently manage shipping demands, regardless of volume and resources.
Speaking to John Beaven, Managing Director at ParcelOffice.net, he attributed the exponential uptake of the service to the accelerated demand on UK manufacturing during the COVID 19 UK lockdown, and ramp up of UK industry with the impending Brexit transition.
“We saw huge growth [in 2020 Q3], beating expectations - our main clientele are UK manufacturers, and clearly demand has been huge these last eight months”. He continued, “we’ve also seen an increase in output from UK manufacturing that we attribute to the perceived future demand of domestic production, as the cost of imports are set to increase post Brexit.”
“As we come out of beta, we’ll be looking to expand and monetise our user base, with a few partnerships with other platforms already on the cards.”
