Press Release: January 19, 2010
Lovestruck.com uniquely matches daters whose offices are located close to each other in order to cater for coffee, lunch or after-work rendezvous.
Lovestruck plans to capitalize on mobile location-based services to offer users a more personal and rounded experience. An iPhone application is to be launched mid-February, which will offer users the flexibility of using Lovestruck 'on the go', as well as enjoy added features specific to the technical abilities of the device.
Brett Harding, Managing Director of Lovestruck says "Where better to advertise the launch of our native iPhone and Android apps than the devices themselves? Fetch Media have consistently shown that they're at the cutting edge of this relatively new advertising platform, and we'll no doubt benefit from that thinking now and in the future."
Fetch Media, a relatively new company in the growing mobile media space, acknowledges that the demand from traditional online services for mobile integration is on a rapid ascent. James Connelly, MD of Fetch Media adds Not only is there an ongoing shift in consumer activity from PC to mobile but there is also an increase in user capability on mobile such as augmented reality and location-based services which makes mobile an increasingly attractive platform for consumers.
