Kia Car Insurance - Success of Scrappage Schemes Set to Continue

Press Release: March 19, 2010

British drivers are being offered a discount of £2,000 in order to trade in their vehicle if it is seven years older or more when purchasing a new Kia vehicle. There are five brand new Kia models available for customers to choose from, with the Soul, Pro-Cee'd, Ceed SW and Ceed standard eligible for the £2,000 deduction. Meanwhile the Picanto, Rio and Venga will also be eligible with a £1,500 deduction.

There is an argument suggesting the success of such government-led car scrappage schemes has seen motorists rely on such projects to purchase a new lower-cost vehicle.

Germany remains widely regarded as the biggest new car market in Europe, but even the Germans reported a 30% decline in sales in February 2010 in comparison to the same time period last year.

Kia vehicles and Kia car insurance boast an extensive range of amenities whilst its cost-effective production means that it can keep vehicle prices low. Kia is famed for its reliability with some of its latest models coming with a staggering 7-year warranty underlining the faith in its production quality.
