Press Release: April 20, 2010
In fact, if we are to go by the survey findings, most of those surveyed are willing to dump the Apple iPhones and make the loyalty switch.
Incidentally, the HTC Desire is one of he first smartphones in quite a while that will be available in the UK in a big way.
The HTC Desire contract is compatible with all the networks in the UK O2, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile, 3 and Virgin Media. HTC's Legend also carries, more or less, similar features but was available only through Vodafone.
The survey covered nearly 2,000 respondents. Out of which an overwhelming 47% were clear that they will go for an HTC Desire at the first opportunity. And only12% wanted to remain loyal with their Apple iPhones.
The Nexus One and the Legend were the next on the rankings with eight per cent readers voting for them.
Yet another eight per cent voters had another Android mobile phone altogether on their minds.
Of course, there were those who neither wanted a latest Android or for that matter, an iPhone.
