Press Release: February 10, 2010
WHY not join one of our biggest fundraisers in 2010 from the comfort of your own home?
The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is urging people to participate in a month-long tea party it is promoting throughout February.
Tea for Helen is a new fundraising campaign encouraging people to arrange a tea party in their home, workplace, sports club, school or social club or anywhere you choose.
Invite your friends, work colleagues, school friends for a cuppa and charge them for the privilege.
Community relations manager Angela Lodge said: The tea parties can be as big or small as you like, whether you raise £10 or £100, every penny will really make a difference to someone living with cancer. Enjoy a cuppa and raise funds for us!

BBC Sport presenter Clare Balding, who is supporting the Tea for Helen campaign said: Tea has always been the first drink of my day and my comfort when things are going wrong.
"Have a cup of tea or come round for a cup of tea are phrases that we use without thinking but they have evolved for a reason - tea is for sharing, it's for enjoying and it's for offering support.
Tea for Helen draws on all of these feelings and by joining in our campaign, you can make yourselves and others feel better.
