Trimedia, which is about to re-brand as Grayling, took the top spot at the Midlands CIPR Awards 2009. The Trimedia team based in the city of Birmingham was nominated for three awards including Best Consumer Relations for the launch of Highcross Leicester, Best Low Budget Campaign for Bullring Birmingham and top prize of Consultancy of the Year 2009, which they won.
The Birmingham team has had a particularly successful year, winning over £300,000 of new business from various clients including Advantage West Midlands and triumphed over local competitor Willoughby PR to be named as Consultancy of the Year 2009. The coveted award is judged on numerous criteria including profitability, client gains, staff development and CSR amongst others.

Trimedia is to merge with sister companies Grayling and Mmd to create new global public relations and public affairs firm means it will carry the Grayling name from 01January 2010. The new company will have a global footprint with 44 key offices across Europe, the USA and Asia Pacific and will rank in the top three independent PR firms in the world.
