GPSL launch ViewPoint, the next generation of IETP Viewer for Aerospace and Defense

Press Release: September 23, 2020

Dallas - September 23rd 2020: GPSL, a PTC Partner for Aerospace & Defense (A&D), has launched a new IETP viewer into the market.

GPSL ViewPoint is the next generation of IETP viewer, providing users with a modern, feature-rich user interface for viewing S1000D and MIL-STD data.

GPSL is recognized as a global specialist in A&D for solving mission-critical content challenges. The addition of this IETP viewer to their product portfolio will enable customers to bring the engineer or maintainer in the field in the PLM/SLM S1000D digital information chain.

GPSL ViewPoint integrates natively with Windchill™ for S1000D-compliant content delivery online or offline.

With its intuitive user interface and S1000D specific functionality, ViewPoint provides everything the end-user needs in a viewer while streamlining the creation of IETPs, direct from PTC Windchill™.

“Launching ViewPoint further underpins our commitment to customers working with S1000D and other S-Series standards across Aerospace & Defense,” says David Williams, COO of GPSL.

For customers wanting to digitally link S1000D service information and product engineering data, the picture is only complete if the field maintainer sits inside this connected view. ViewPoint provides our customers with this final link in their S1000D information chain.”

The launch of ViewPoint comes just over a year after the company took over the sales and support of PTC’s S1000D module for Windchill™ SIM. Since then, the product has had two major releases, the latest incorporating support for S10000D Issue 5.0.

Adding Viewpoint to their portfolio is another significant milestone in GPSL’s strategic plan to support A&D customers creating, managing, and delivering S1000D and MIL-STD content now and in the future.
