Press Release: January 13, 2010
The 60 invited brides-to-be will be welcomed with cocktails and canaps and each will be given business cards personalised with their name, contact details and their wedding date.
Each exhibitor is handpicked and all set standards of excellence in their respective fields. They are not permitted to hand out brochures or flyers at The Wedding Salon; instead each bride-to-be will receive a glossy catalogue containing all exhibitor details including personal biographies. If the bride-to-be would like further information, she just hands over one of her business cards and the company will send out the requested details. Brides are not bombarded with information they do not require and exhibitors do not waste time selling their product to brides not interested.
There will be a number of guest speakers at the event, ranging from an up and coming bridal designer, to an expert in the art of wedding etiquette, there to guide brides and highlight trends in 2010/11. The events main attraction will be the spectacular catwalk fashion show, featuring dresses from small, local bridal boutiques, to big designer names along with mother of the bride, groom and childrens wear. Brides will be chauffeured around the stunning grounds of the hotel by a choice of horse and carriage, Bentley or vintage Rolls Royce.
When asked what makes The Wedding Salon different from other wedding fairs, organiser Paul Russell said Rather than herding people into the event, handing them a photocopied A4 flyer at each exhibitors stand, we start off with a champagne cocktail and finish the day with Afternoon Tea. Its elegant, sophisticated and wickedly indulgent, just as it should be.
The Wedding Salon organises exclusive invitation only wedding fairs across the United Kingdom. Formed in 2008 we offer an alternative wedding fair event to the more discerning bride, The Wedding Salon is targeted entirely at the five star market.
