Press Release: May 20, 2020
Nicola and Jackie, co-Directors at Danton HR were absolutely delighted when they found out that their winning entry had secured them a place in the NWEDR and NWBL ‘Celebrating North Worcestershire’ calendar for 2019.
“We were thrilled to be competition winners – and the thought of us being ‘Mrs and Mrs October’ certainly gave us – and our husbands – a chuckle! says Nicola.
With forty years’ cumulative experience working in HR teams, across the private and public sector, the directors have acquired a vast amount of knowledge across all HR legislation and procedures, but most importantly, how to put that into practice in the workplace. In 2011 Nicola made the decision to go it alone, with Jackie joining her in 2017. Danton HR was officially launched in March 2018.
Jackie says: “We had previously worked together really successfully and so it seemed a natural fit, and things have just gone from strength to strength.”
The business provides HR support for businesses of all sizes, in all sectors and all industries. They provide advice on everything from providing a starter pack to ensure a business is compliant in employing someone, right the way through to supporting management teams with leadership training, and a wide variety of areas in between. One of the things they love is the variety of people they get to work with.
Nicola says: “We have a fantastic client base across Worcestershire and the wider Midlands area, but we still love getting out and meeting new businesses. The competition has been a brilliant opportunity for us to increase our visibility across the region and help showcase local businesses across North Worcestershire.”
The team pride themselves on being both professional and friendly and see their approachability as one of their key strengths. They’ve recently moved premises and now have offices on Saxon Business Park in Stoke Prior, just outside of Bromsgrove. They have plenty of space to meet with clients including a second meeting room that clients can use. You’re assured of a warm welcome and the coffee is always on the go!
“We are passionate about supporting local businesses and really like to get to know the clients that we work with. One of the best things about our job is seeing them succeed and get the most out of their people,” says Jackie.
“If you have any HR issues you would like to discuss please do get in touch,” says Nicola. “It might be nearly Halloween, but we can take the ‘fright’ out of those complicated people matters for you!
