Press Release: December 08, 2009
Cyberoams new Endpoint Data Protection suite fills the gap for an affordable endpoint security solution, with most available products being highly priced and targeted at the enterprise segment. With Cyberoam supporting anywhere from a single user up to 3,000 users, it meets the data protection requirements of both the SMB and enterprise segments.
Mukesh Gupta, Managing Director of Cyberoam distributor e92plus commented, This latest offering from Cyberoam adds to their growing reputation of delivering high-end functionality at an affordable price. The addition of their new Endpoint Data Protection software to their existing range of UTM Appliances gives resellers more security options to sell to their customers. Cyberoam also offer free NFR licenses and generous reseller incentives, and this coupled with e92plus value added services such as one day installation included in the price and free marketing tools, makes Cyberoam the complete package for resellers looking to increase their customer base.
Harish Chib, Vice-President New Business Development at Cyberoam said, Blended threats do not distinguish between the gateway and the endpoint to gain entry. With the launch of the Endpoint Data Protection Suite, Cyberoam will secure organisations at both the gateway and the desktop, offering complete security cover for everyone.
Cyberoams Endpoint Data Protection suite consists of four modules - Data Protection and Encryption, Device Management, Application Control and Asset Management. With its policy-driven data protection and asset management, the suite delivers identity and group-based policy control as well as activity logging to provide comprehensive control and visibility of data transfer over removable devices; applications; chat applications such as Skype & MSN; network sharing and printers.
Speaking about the opening of new opportunities for channel partners, Chib says, Cyberoam is one of the few companies offering Data Protection and Asset Management in a single solution globally, meeting customer demand for a comprehensive, easy-to-manage solution. Our endpoint solution opens a whole new opportunity for channel partners for revenue generation and expanding the customer base. In fact, a poll of our global partners revealed that 59% wanted endpoint data protection including asset management from Cyberoam in their portfolio.
