Coyote Ugly Saloon Sert To Expand in UK

Press Release: September 11, 2017

First Coyote Ugly bar to open in England, Scotland or Ireland

The UK's second venue of the world renowned Coyote Ugly bar is set to be announced soon and they are giving the public a say on where next!

Made famous by the eponymous 2000 film, starring Tyra Banks and John Goodman, the venue is known for hotpant sporting barmaids dancing on the bar, American style BBQ food and a wild atmosphere.

The first British branch of the famous bar opened in Cardiff in December 2016 and they are now looking at other major cities in England, Ireland and Scotland.

“Customers have been travelling to us from all over the UK, every weekend, and many have been disappointed on not being able to book tables or booths as many key dates sell out weeks or months in advance. The perfect answer to this problem is to expand and open another venue.” Steve Lewis, Director of Coyote Ugly Saloon in the UK.

You can now vote for one of the 12 cities in the UK and Ireland highlighted by the group as to where you would like to see the next venue open. What’s more, when the announcement is made in less than 2 weeks time, all those that voted will receive an invite to the opening party!

Voting is now open at CoyoteUglyWales.com/where-next

The film was based on a chain of popular American bars of the same name, which is best known for their rowdy nature and western-themed style.

Sean McMahon, Comms Director of Degu Media, PR agency of Coyote Ugly Saloons UK added “We envisage a number of venues being announced in a short space of time followed by a structured roll out across England, Ireland and Scotland."

Coyote Ugly was founded in New York’s East Village in 1993 the chain gained a cult following after the film was released and now has 25 locations across various countries including the US, Russia, Ukraine and Japan.
