Coronavirus is changing the way we manage injuries

Press Release: June 03, 2020

The current coronavirus pandemic has put all of our lives on hold, but many of the changes we have seen will not be short lived. The innovative ways we have adapted to the various restrictions that have been put on us have allowed many of us to carry on completing the most important of tasks, with minimal disruption, simple taking an alternative route rather than coming to a standstill.

Healthcare is no exception. With hospitals working close to capacity and key workers in full flow, some of us have had treatment to non-life threatening ailments, delayed. Whilst we understand the reasons behind it, it doesn't help us manage the pain.

To add to this, with gyms and leisure facilities remaining closed for now, we are finding alternative ways to exercise and keep fit. A number of us taking up various running challenges, such as the Strava-trending "100k In May".

The treatment of many injuries therefore are not only on hold, but actually increasing! With many of us being more active outdoors (making the most of this sunlight!) and picking up various niggles.

For this reason, new tech startup, OnlinePhysio.app has launched to help us manage our injuries in the comfort of our own home. The completely online service offers a free quiz-style online injury assessment. Patients fill out a quick 5 minute quiz about their injury and the site's clever algorithm suggests a personalised rehabilitation programme for them to purchase at a small one off fee, from as little as £20!

The programmes are instantly available to download and require little or no equipment, so that you can easily start your rehab in lockdown.

The innovative app has already been used by professionla sports people, business men and women and some celebrity influencers.

Visit www.onlinephysio.app for your free online injury assessment and to get your rehabilitation programme today!
