Press Release: March 18, 2010
Charlie Sheen has reported back to the set of Two and a Half Men after a stint in rehab for substance abuse.
The actor returned to the set on Tuesday with a sober coach in hand, and is expected to return to his rehab facility every evening once filming has finished for the day.
The show is usually filmed in front of a live studio audience, but reports suggest that this weeks filming is set to take place on a closed set.
It is thought that CBS sent a memo to all Men staff members, warning that anyone who leaked any information from the set to outside sources would be fired immediately.
Warner Bros TV has confirmed that production of the hit sitcom has resumed, after it had shut down in February following Sheens admission to rehab for alcohol and cocaine addiction.
Two and a Half Men is currently the highest-rating sitcom on American TV, regularly attracting nearly 15 million viewers. It is thought that Sheen currently rakes in around $900,000 per episode, making him one of the highest earners on television in the States.
The latest episode of Two and a Half Men is scheduled to air in America on 22nd March.
Emmy Award winner Sheen was arrested on Christmas Day for allegedly assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller whilst on holiday in Aspen, Colorado. He has pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges, and will stand trial in Colorado in July.
