Press Release: March 29, 2010
Emmaus, a national charity that enables people to move on from homelessness, approached Chuse Design to ask if the company would consider redesigning the section of its website dedicated to helping people in Gloucestershire.
Chuse not only agreed to do the design, but offered to do the work for no fee as part of its commitment to helping those in the charitable sector.
The project speaks volumes for the growth, power and influence of social networking sites as all communications were conducted via Twitter and email. The redesign was secured after MD of Chuse Design; Neil Scriven posted a tweet offering Emmaus Gloucester his skills, and help with raising their profile. Neil Booker, the Business Manager at Emmaus Gloucester, replied suggesting a flagship website.
Managing Director of Chuse Design, Neil Scriven has said:
""We were hugely excited about getting involved and helping a national charity, not least one that does such valuable work as that carried out by Emmaus. I am absolutely delighted that the Emmaus team loves the new design so much and hope that it may result in a complete site design refresh".
Approximately 5 weeks later, the new website was launched. Neil Scriven hopes to receive more projects from the regional Emmaus charities, as he is such a supporter of the charity and is hoping to be invited to pitch for the redesign of the entire site.
Neil Booker, Business Manager of Emmaus Gloucester, has said:
I am really happy with the results of the website, the improvements are fantastic. Neil and I only ever discussed things via Twitter and email yet we always managed to get our points across, and the result speaks for itself. It would be great if the Emmaus brand could hire Chuse Design for branding, and get Neil on the pay roll.
Over the course of a 10 yr career, Neil has worked with many successful brands including, Toshiba, Northern Racing, Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, and Danilo Promotions, where he designed Official Calendars such as Hollyoaks, High School Musical & Disney's Up.
