Press Release: December 10, 2020
A Berkshire-based podcast is now officially the top choice for UK listeners interested in recruitment and business chat – and the first from a Planet Mark-certified business.
“The Ethical Recruiter” weekly episodes feature prominent business leaders and aims to get people talking about how they can affect positive change within the workplace.
Conversations so far have involved topics as diverse as the fall of capitalism, and how small businesses can still do their part to effectively address mental health issues.
Podcasting platforms have been responding to the quality of its episodes, with Apple regularly displaying it inside the top fifty suggestions for recruitment podcasts (pictured below).
A recent episode featuring former Olympic swimmer Simone Hindmarch saw the show rise to the top one hundred podcasts chart for all business podcasts.
The show’s main mission is to bridge a divide between companies and potential employment candidates and positively disrupt the employment space.
EllisKnight’s Director Paul Smith was the one who come up with the idea of a podcast for Ellis Knight.
He was clear from the beginning that he didn’t want it to be just about recruitment. He wanted it to be about far more than that.
“If every business made a small change or were inspired by a guest or something we’ve done and we’ve given that platform to make a good, positive difference… that’s a worthwhile podcast to host”, said Paul Smith.
The Ethical Recruiter is a Podknows Productions podcast created on behalf of Ellis Knight International Recruitment.
