Press Release: April 08, 2010
In recent years the number of deaths in the United Kingdom from electrical materials has gone up. A major reason for this comes from how many electricians in the UK have not been properly qualified and certified for many important projects that they undertake.
WA Electrical is looking to change this by working with qualified and trainee electricians through courses and exams that provide all the accreditations and endorsements you need to proceed in your career as an electrician.
Standards for hiring electricians have increased over the years and companies and subcontractors will not hire electricians that do not meet the approved standards. As a result more budding electricians are going to WA Electrical for their certification and endorsement needs.
Our electrical training courses are fully customizable. Does your company require you to brush up on the latest in electrical design training, multi-skilling or awareness techniques? Then WA Electrical will help you learn just what you need to learn without the extras you don't need. You can pick up more classes whenever you wish to learn more, so you're in control.
It doesn't matter if you are an experienced electrical professional or an allied trade, our customized training will help you sharpen your skills to take them to the next level. Our electrical engineer training is accredited by City & Guilds and the NICEIC so your training is sure to be recognized by the government and can follow you all through the UK no matter where you work.
Trainees who study courses such as electrical design training courses through WA Electrical can also get certified by NAPIT. The National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers is a group that supports electrical contractors and the processes that they handle.
WA Electrical offers electrical training courses that can be used to help with allowing electricians to receive their ECS cards. The Electrotechnical Certification Scheme card is one that states that a person has passed all proper safety courses with regards to handling electrical materials and will be able to work on a construction site.
In addition to this students can earn their Electrical Installation Certificates from WA Electrical. This is a certification used to allow a person to work with electrical installations that will require the use of getting new circuits installed.
WA Electrical Engineer Training was set up in 2005 to fill a gap in the electrical training industry. Our founder, David, has over 30 years in the Electrical Engineer field and has served as City & Guilds lead verifier, advisor at UNESCO, Hospitals and the Prison Service among many other fine positions through the years. All subjects taught by Electrical Engineer Training are based upon the latest wiring regulations (BS 7671:2008,17th Edition) and the Building Regulations (part P courses) for compliance with statutory and non-statutory requirements and are offered at our training premises based in Bolton or on Company premises if preferred.
