Press Release: April 16, 2010
Award-winning burrito independent Barburrito has opened its third Manchester outlet in Deansgate to complement existing sites in Piccadilly Gardens, The Trafford Centre and Liverpool One.
Pioneering the way in the Deansgate area for healthy, fresh, fast-casual food, Barburrito Deansgate will also be the first to carry the brands new flagship interior design and will include brand ambassador, Derek the donkey, as a 20ft tall feature!
Director Morgan Davies said: Ever since we opened in Piccadilly, customers have asked us when we would be opening in Deansgate. We will now be able to offer a great value alternative to the myriad of more costly restaurants that are located in the Deansgate area. With affordable prices starting from £4 per burrito, diners can enjoy a healthy, tongue tingling or mild burrito filled with their choice of freshly grilled lean meat, vegetables and hot salsa.
Davies added: Barburrito was the UKs first burrito bar to open back in 2005 and we base our success on how we operate each new restaurant and how we have consistently kept our customers happy and wanting to come back for more. According to foodies in the know, Mexican Street Food is being predicted as the big food trend of 2010.
For Davies, its simple: We set out wanting to establish our own sophisticated and western adaptation of the classic Mexican dish five years ago and it has driven our business to where we are today. Our ultimate aim is simple, to be the coolest burrito brand on the planet.
