Press Release: April 23, 2016
The Italian firm Bertelè embarks on a new project, with the presentation in Toronto of its distinctive furnishings, the essence of sophistication and elegance. The exclusive location chosen to showcase Bertelè’s creations is Improve, Canadaʼs largest home improvement centre dedicated to the world of home design. The Improve concept is to create a salon for interiors, open 365 days a year, where both the world of trade and end users can find what is new and outstanding in the sector.
With a surface area of 100,000 square metres, Improve is the largest furnishing and design mall in Canada, with 400 stores representing 38 different categories in the home design sphere, selected for their outstanding quality standards and gathered together under one roof to offer a comprehensive overview of current international trends and thus relaunch the interior design and home decoration market. Canada plays an important role in the international furnishing sector, since it is the 9th largest consumer of furnishings worldwide. Much admired for quality and innovative design, Italy is the top supplier at the higher end of the market, ranking 5th as an exporter.
This foothold gained in the sector thus offers Bertelè an important international showcase in a highly specialised exhibition space that is already demonstrating its potential to become the prime focus in North America to relaunch, boost and renew the home living market.
Bertelè’s fine collections will be on display in the Italian Art Interior showroom, dedicated to the most authentic, exclusive creations Made in Italy. Kitchens, Living Spaces, Wall Panelling, Wine Cellars, Doors&Tables: Italian Art Interior offers the American market a taste of Italian style, recognised as being synonymous with premium quality and prestige. The classic, romantic contours of Bertelè furnishings embellish contemporary homes and contract settings with the style typical of excellent-quality craftsmanship, using the finest of materials. Bertelè brings a sophisticated, timeless approach to creating unique furnishing accessories, designed and crafted to measure based on the user’s needs, with exquisite attention to detail and able to combine beauty with performance.
