An oasis of calm & insight........in the City

Inner Space, Glasgows new Meditation and Personal Development Centre, will be officially opened on Friday 29 January 2010 at a special event to be held at the premises at 277 High Street, Glasgow, G4 0QS from 7pm. The event will feature an address by Sister Jayanti, European Director of the Brahma Kumaris, Spiritual Teacher and sought after international speaker.

Inner Space will offer a variety of courses and talks, free of charge, serving as an introduction to personal growth and spirituality in daily life. Courses will include Meditation, Positive Thinking, Self Esteem and Stress Management as well as one-off talks and seminars. Inner Space is a project of the Brahma Kumaris in the UK.

Talking about the opening of Inner Space, Rose Goodenough, Co-ordinator of Inner Space Glasgow said If you have ever wanted to learn to meditate, develop stress management techniques, feel calmer, get to know yourself or just feel a little more peaceful the solution may be closer than you think

Sister Jayanti is a spiritual teacher and leader, a pioneer and an emissary for peace. At the age of 19 she began her life's path of spiritual study and service with the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. At the age of 21 she dedicated her life to making a difference in the world. She has trained for more than 30 years with some of the world's more remarkable yogis. As a result, she herself is an extraordinary meditator and teacher and has developed a clarity and purity of mind that is exceptional. She is a sought after speaker internationally. She is currently the European director of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University and assists in coordinating the University's activities in more than 70 countries.
