Press Release: March 05, 2010

North Liverpool based Acorn Training Academy Ltd have become a member of the ever growing organisation Backing Young Britain. This initiative helps aid the youth of today to get vital opportunities by gaining valuable work experience within the sector that they want to work within. Acorn Training Academy teach 14-21 year olds Motor Mechanics and this currently has a short fall of over 100,000 qualified auto technicians within the UK, so this is a real area that needs support.

Blue Chip organisations such as Asda and Marks and Spencer are currently working with Backing Young Britain and Acorn want to help play their part in giving youth who may be more vocational than Academic there chance to shine and gain real positions of work at the end of the course.

Gary Bond, Acorn Training Academies Managing Director commented This is a great opportunity for us as our mission statement is Helping Youth Grow. This is the perfect opportunity for us to do just that. Backing Young Britain will open so many doors for us to help the youth get into a working environment and gives them that vital experience they need
