Press Release: February 08, 2017
A Soho tea room located in the foyer of London's boutique independent theatre, The Arts Cafe (formerly The MADD Hatter's Cafe) offers a creative take on afternoon tea. Awarded the 'Food and Drink Innovation of the Year' by MasterChef Professionals Winner Steven Edwards for their tea latte, unique styles of tea and lavish cakes are served amidst an art deco inspired backdrop.
The venue has undergone a full renovation to transform the space completely, and had their Grand Reopning on Monday 16th January, 2017.
The Arts Cafe’s afternoon tea is an indulgent mix of savoury canapés, with an emphasis on sweet treats and specialist teas. Awarded the 'Food and Drink Innovation of the Year', they have grown as specialists in their own rights. The signature Tea Latte is a drink unavailable anywhere else in the world, and is offered in several varieties including Gingerbread and Butterscotch. Purists can savour a wealth of traditional loose leaf teas, served with custom extravagance.
With a cake range supplied to Fortnum & Mason and WholeFoods, The Arts Cafe are undoubtedly cake connoisseurs. Ever changing offerings includes colourful cupcakes, delectable brownies and exquisite scones on a tantalising platter that lines the elegant brass bar.
With this exhilarating new space set in such a popular part of the city, you're sure to return whether you're a tea fan, cake lover, or simply looking for somewhere new to call your favourite place.
