A leading UK housing group has partnered with a career development app in an innovative partnership as part of its investment in communities.
Orbit has partnered, through its Better Days Fund, with social enterprise Stay Nimble to establish digital support in the delivery of employment and training services to an initial 150 residents.
The handpicked 150 Orbit community customers will receive nine months of access to the Stay Nimble platform to help them to develop their careers, alongside access to the employment team at Orbit.
Orbit’s vision is to lead in building thriving communities, providing a choice of different homes to meet the diverse needs of society, and it works with partners to enable their residents to live fulfilling and happy lives.
Orbit chose to partner with Stay Nimble following an in-depth evaluation of the app’s tools and the team was impressed with the app’s ease of use. Stay Nimble’s unique combination of local labour market data matched with a person’s individual personality strengths attracted Orbit to the platform, as an important digital opportunity to scale and personalise the employability support it offered.
