Music Performer,Missy Jay, Supports Look Good Feel Better Initiative

London, UK – Feb. 2, 2020–Millions of women live with chronic conditions, deadly diseases, and are the victims of emotional and physical violence. Internationally-acclaimed DJane, Missy Jay, is working to make a difference in the lives of women through theLook Good Feel Better initiative.

“My mission this year is to bring joy, flowers and well-being, and music instruction to women who suffer chronic diseases such as female cancers or emotional violence survivors,” said Missy Jay.“The combination of these three feminine aspects – music, flowers and makeup – has the power to heal and transmute. It would be a joy to fulfill this mission around the world.”

Look Good Feel Better will be helping to change moods, mindsets, and assist people find inner peace through flower therapy classes in a relaxing environment. Participants will learn how to create bouquets, care for flowers in pots, and benefit from Bach Flower Therapy. Also available will be complimentary beauty workshops that will provide individuals with the tools and techniques for applying makeup to feel vital and beautiful.

Sound therapyhas the power to sooth the mind, reduce stress, enhance creativity, and increase energy. Music improves sleep, and affects the body on a deeper level that aids in detoxification, strengthens the immune system, stimulates circulation, and helps in self-regeneration. Music therapy is recognized around the globe for its healing effects on the mind and body.

In addition, the DJane will be training for another 5K marathon, with 100 percent of her profits going toward the project to provide needed materials. She’s also supporting an environmental initiative to raise awareness about reducing plastic waste within the hospitality industry at #plastifree. Missy Jay’s first humanitarian mission was in 2016 with Women Trust, UK to raise funds via crowdfunding through a Santa Run in London.

As a musician, Missy Jay has performed around the world for over a decade at music festivals, playing at luxury hotels, DJing, consulting, and creating content for resorts and social media accounts. She knows the profound power for healing and inner peace that music possesses. The Italian-born globetrotter spends much of her life in the DJ booth and traveling between airports, but her efforts to make the world a better place overshadows her glam Insta life.

“I’ve met many teachers of various disciplines along my journey in life and a deep shift started to happen after making personal changes in my inner self,” said Missy Jay. “The better care you take of your inner world, the better you can take care of everyone around you.”
