Research shows that human beings often naturally become tired approximately eight hours after waking.
If you are going to try power napping as a way of boosting up your sleep hours, experts recommend keeping it to between 15 and 30 minutes per day. This way it should not interfere with your usual sleep routine, will be easier to wake from and of course can fit into even the busiest of schedules. So if you have 15-30 minutes, take a nap! Even five minutes rest is better than nothing. However, if you are uncomfortable with napping altogether then as an alternative meditation will also allow your body some rest.
