Katie Melua shot to success in 2003 with her first album Call off the Search, containing her most famous song The Closest Thing to Crazy. This dominated the UK album charts, propelling her to become the biggest selling female artist in 2004-2005. Her two albums have sold over 9 million copies and is currently Europes biggest selling female solo artist.
Her duet with Eva Cassidy, "What a Wonderful World" achieved number one success in December 2007, with all proceeds going to support the British Red Cross.
