IT Team get comfy for a quid.
Staff at Teesside’s Agile Group are looking forward to Fridays even more with a new company incentive.
For just £1 the team can enjoy casual Fridays, wearing whatever they like, all in the name of charity, but that’s not all…
The charitable lot at Agile Group Ltd are increasing their charity sponsorships for 2015.
Simon Scotchbrook (MD) is donating an extra £12,000 to charities in Newcastle, Yorkshire, Durham and Teesside.
A charity committee, made up of the sales team and headed by their Marketing Coordinator, Emily Dallara have been appointed as the creative thinkers responsible for planning and fundraising for the events. With a team who are a bit mad, you can imagine the discussions they’ve had so far.
Whilst a mixture of charities are already supported by the group in the Teesside area including; Daisy Chain, MFC Foundation, Zoe’s place, Teesside Hospice, Teesside Philantrophic and Butterwick Hospice. The company, having recently expanded their client base in Newcastle, Durham and Yorkshire, felt they needed to give something back to charities in those communities. They are happy to be in talks with a couple of fantastic charities, including St Oswald’s in Newcastle who will hopefully benefit from a large donation in the coming months.
The company, raised around £9000 through successful fundraising events in 2014.
A Charity football match raised a phenomenal amount at the Riverside stadium –the event involved the whole team and clients of Agile Group Ltd. The most memorable (and coldest) fundraiser was the ‘Santa’s Sleigh ride’ for Zoe’s place, which saw the sales team dress up in reindeer outfits and walk 6 miles from Middlesbrough town centre to Zoe’s place whilst pulling Santa’s and his sleigh (Director of Sales, Gavin Scotchbrook).
The team are hoping to raise even more this year!
