The practices were set up as a joint development between Integrated Dental Holdings (IDH), specialists in dental recruitment, and the NHS.
The two practices, based in Freshwater and Ryde, originally opened in September 2009 and sees 3 practitioners based at Cross Street Dental Practice, Ryde, with 2 based at Whitecross Dental Care, Freshwater.
Senior Commissioning Manager for the island’s NHS Primary Care, Caroline Morris said:
"I am delighted that we are making a significant difference to the health of Island residents. Over the past four years we have invested more than four million pounds in dental services for people on the Isle of Wight, which has almost doubled the level of NHS dental provision on the Island."
