CEO & Founder of Hashtag CV, Chris Butler is asking everyone to help support his campaign to ensure every child has a standout CV, worldwide.
“Children all deserve the best chance of finding work when they leave school. Even, if they are continuing in education, most still require a part time job at least. But with competition being so fierce and candidates being told by employers they want to see something different, where can school leavers turn for help?”
Hashtag CV has created a web app that allows users to build a CV in less than 10 minutes that is packed with helpful advice and over 10,000 pre-built phrases. It comes with 9 standout CV designs that can be published Online and downloaded. Hashtag CV has created a tool that will help everyone land their dream job.
“Here at Hashtag CV, we are building a specific tool that will enable all secondary schools worldwide to sign up to and give free access to it’s pupils. But we need your help”. Says Chris
Hashtag CV has entered a competition to pitch its business to Richard Branson as part of the Virgin Media Business VOOM 2016 competition.
VOOM 2016 relies on public votes at www.vmbvoom.com/pitches/hashtag-cv to shortlist the UK and Ireland’s most exciting entrepreneurs, and Chris 33, from Birmingham believes Hashtag CV has the idea to impress the public.
Chris has promised the world that if Hashtag CV gets to the finals of VOOM 2016 he will offer his system to all secondary schools for free. Giving each and every child a better chance of finding work when they leave school.
In an interview Chris stated “For us all at Hashtag CV, it’s important that every child has the access to build a CV/ Resume that will land them their dream job. But for us to achieve this goal, we need the publics support. With enough votes, not only will this confirm the need for a solution such as ours, but also help us move to the next round of VOOM and bring us even closer to offering all schools free access to our app.”
