Voluntary benefits provider Asperity Employee Benefits celebrates its 4th birthday this week, having recently enjoyed its strongest quarter to date with sales to end December 09 running over twice normal levels.
Since its launch in 2006 the company has grown to service almost 300 employer clients across public and private sectors, and reported turnover of £7 million in the financial year to June 09 and expects to report well over £20 million for the current year 09/10.
In a recent trading update, Asperity announced that 52 new corporate clients signed up to its award-winning Reward Gateway employee benefits programme between October and December, a company best and more than double their projection. Asperity reports both average fee income and contract lengths holding up well. The company already provides employee benefits to workers at many big UK firms including Ladbrokes, TUI Travel, IBM, Malmaison & many local councils. A number of large new corporates including McDonalds Restaurants are known to have signed up in the most recent quarter.
The company also reported contract retentions pleasingly ahead of target. Client Service Director George Farrow commented: Weve retained almost 100% of our contract renewals in the face of a very difficult time for many of our clients which shows just how much value Reward Gateway offers for employers and how well that value holds up even under pressurised budgets and a very tricky economic environment.
