In their line of business, Cheshire based Marketing agency, MLP, know a thing or two about brands; so when they’re a dedicated fan, not just of the Volkswagen brand, but of Ross Ashley, the Sales Manager at Crewe Volkswagen, you can bet there’s good reason.

The innovative company, now has six Volkswagen Golf GTe, that’s the hybrid plug-in version of the Golf and they love them.

Client Services Director, Stuart Lawton, explained, “Our business has been working towards reducing its environmental impact and in line with this aim, we started to move our team into plug-in hybrid vehicles”.

“The fact that our employees get the added benefit of vastly reduced company car tax and fuel BIK made the financial decision a simple one. We’ve installed a number of charging-points in our company car park and have made these bays ‘electric only’ and this also gives their drivers the benefit of a cost-free commute,” continued Stuart.

“We’re all big VW Golf fans here and we have two other Golf models on the fleet as well; we believe they’re simply the best car you can buy for the money, pound-for-pound”, added Stuart, “I’ve done 16,000 miles in seven months and I still love my Golf. They just work”.

Stuart has dealt with Ross Ashley on a number of occasions and has always received good service, something he believes to be rare in the industry today, hence he likes to do business with Ross and with Swansway.

MLP have six VW Golf GTe, two more conventional Golf models, two Up!s, as well as a VW Amarok for deliveries and plan to change all of their fleet to Up!, Golf and Passat hybrid and electric when each vehicle is due for renewal they really love their Vee Dubs!
