Drone company given CAA permission to fly at night commercially

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted DPM Aviation Services Ltd permission to operate drones at night time.

This means with day and night permissions the company can fly Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) know as drones commercially 24 hours a day.

The Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) 5955 granted by the CAA means that DPM Aviation Services Ltd can capture imagery that will add value for clients.

“This is very good news, as we can now provide our clients with a value-added service of flying at night time. For example, capturing unique imagery that can only be obtained when it’s dark”, says Daniel Meager, Accountable Manager, and Chief Pilot.

DPM Aviation Services Ltd provide drone services include aerial imagery, inspections, and surveys using drones and UAVs. Specific services include; photos, videos, infra-red, thermal-imaging, multispectral, mapping in 2D / 3D, surveying, consulting and pilot for hire.
