Dr. Martine Rukengwa is married and a mother of 2, a boy and a girl. She is also a medical doctor working in women’s health, more specifically Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the United Kingdom.
She is passionate about women health and Global Health- particularly addressing some of the major causes of maternal Mortality. She is also the CEO of DIV-CONNECT, an organization that works to empower health and social care services through medical, social, and community work /support. In addition to this, Dr. Martine Rukengwa is currently starting a charitable organization to support women’s health and well-being worldwide, but more so in the developing world.
