A tale of two families who have two children that are the same ages. The Long family is poor, and their children are slow learners, but the Joseph family are wealthy, and their children are very smart. The Joseph family looks down on people who are not as fortunate as them, but they have yet to learn a valuable lesson.
About The Author
Cindy Samantha Christmas (born 27 February 1985) is a Barbadian Author, Illustrator & Poet. Cindy is mostly known for her poetry. Born Saint Michael, Barbados. Around January 1998, Cindy moved to the United States with her mother, who lived in Maryland. Cindy began to write at age thirteen as a way of expressing her feelings, because she was very shy.
At eighteen years old, Cindy decided to write a poem as a joke and send it to an online company, but to her surprise the company liked her poem and wanted her permission to publish her poem into their book.
That inspired Cindy to publish her first book Adult Poems(2003). Cindy has written over 20 books, 8 children’s books, 3 novels, and 9 poetry books.
