With the hiring of a new Quality and Development Manager, the French company DJC, a member of the Acrotec Group, is taking a new step to anticipate and adapt to the most demanding quality standards of its international clients, particularly in the automotive, electronics and medical technology sectors.
Thyez, October 13, 2020. Specialized in precision bar turning since 1962, DJC is located in the heart of the French Arve Valley, the European center of excellence for numerically controlled (NC) machining. For a long time, DJC has made quality control an essential axis of its industrial strategy with a very clear goal: the delivery of “zero defect” parts. To achieve this, the 30 million parts delivered each year are controlled and tested automatically.
DJC constantly adapts its production to the very high level of requirements of the automotive industry, for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic connectors, as well as for medical equipment and instruments. Concretely, this technological requirement is possible thanks to automated quality control, metrological control, statistical process control (SPC), advanced product quality planning method (APQP), manufacturing execution system (MES), and advanced logistics management. The IATF 16949 certifications and the monitoring of the VDA 6.3 standard confirm the mastery of these quality processes.
Today, DJC is taking another step forward with the hiring of a new Quality and Development Manager, Dominique Colin. “The arrival of Dominique Colin, whose remarkable industrial background guarantees a real added value for our company, is a further demonstration of our will to consolidate the Zero Defect of our production chain and to enhance our processes for demanding applications requiring reliability and precision”, says François Billig, CEO of the Acrotec Group.
