Where customers would normally be buying bathroom suites in January to improve their homes, TradePlumbing has noticed that their customers are more interested in buying combi boilers and radiators. This is likely to be an indication of the recent cold snap experienced in the UK.

"The long-range weather forecast doesn’t look too great, with more cold weather expected for February. Not only are customers searching for a condensing combi boiler, they’re also looking for replacement Gas Boiler Flues" mentioned Kat Pettit, Marketing Manager.

"Of course, some of the change of focus from Bathroom Suites to Combi Boilers is probably related to the recent government-led Boiler Scrappage scheme which started this month. Who wouldn’t want to take this offer up if they were planning on renewing their boiler in the near future? £400 is a great saving on the price of a boiler that would usually cost around £1000. Given the choice between upgrading your bathroom or improving your heating system, I know which one I’d choose right now." continued Kat.
