Research has disclosed that mothers in Englands second city are among the least appreciated by their children.
The West Midlands city has finished in the bottom 10 of a national league table of locations where mums are likely to receive Mothers Day flowers.
The study of 60 lucky and unlucky locations for mums was compiled by online florist Serenata Flowers.
The research revealed that the luckiest mums in the UK live in York. Norwich is second, Colchester third and Cambridge fourth.
But Birmingham was 50th of the 60 towns and cities just above other unlucky locations for mums like Telford, West Bromwich and Ipswich.
Peter Ahl, Managing Director of Serenata Flowers, said: We looked back at our Mothers Day sales figures from other years and calculated which towns and cities were the most and least likely to receive flowers."
We also considered population sizes when working out the league positions. Sadly Birmingham didnt fare too well."
But maybe Brum can seek some solace in the fact it finished six places above London.
