Emily Buchan grew up in the beautiful countryside of Norfolk, England. She had dance and singing lessons from the age of 4 and continues to love musical theatre to this day. She has taken part in almost all styles of theatre including: Artaud, Brechtian, Berkoffian and physical theatre productions. In 2012 she toured across America in a production of ‘No Exit’ by Jon Paul Satre as the characters of both Inez and Estelle (rotating at each venue) in the Imago Theatre company. It was when she reached the West Coast that she realised she loved LA and wanted to become a film and TV actress. With this ambition she returned back to England and auditioned in London for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts to be trained in acting. She got accepted with a scholarship to her dream Acting school and after 2 years of intensive training she graduated this May. Since graduating she got a part in a Ford commercial, was the part of the Prosecutor in a play in the Hollywood Fringe festival, had a supporting role in a feature film and has been cast to play an evil demon queen in an upcoming web series. Since graduating she had been looking for representation and found AMW talent on the SAG AFTRA website. After a rigorous assessment process including performances and an interview, AMW were pleased to represent her. This brings her a step closer to achieving her dream.
