Best-selling Thai cookery author Oi Cheepchaiissara has launched a new venture called LemongrassSecrets.com to promote the first in a series of "mini e-books" on cooking with Thai food.
Visitors to the site can obtain the fully illustrated — and completely FREE — online booklet "Cooking with Lemon Grass: 10 Great Recipes from Oi Cheepchaiissara."
"I think many more people would like to try cooking Thai food, but all they need is a few, really good recipes rather than a complete book," said Oi Cheepchaiissara. "This is an experiment, so I’m making the first e-book available at no charge. It contains some of my favourite recipes."
Although "Cooking with Lemon Grass" is entirely FREE, visitors to LemongrassSecrets.com can download it only if they complete a short marketing questionnaire.
Unlike most of the recipes available online, "Cooking with Lemon Grass" is highly detailed and illustrated with dozens of top quality images. All the recipes contain step-by-step instructions, together with other information such as health tips for each of the main ingredients.
Oi Cheepchaiissara is the author of four cookery books: "The Food of Thailand" (Murdoch Books), "A Little Taste of Thailand" (Murdoch Books UK ), "Fresh Thai" (Hamlyn) and "200 Thai Favourites" (Hamlyn). Together, they have sold several hundred thousand copies worldwide and have been translated into other languages for over a dozen foreign editions.
