Leading UK Personal Training Organisation shocked
by number of unfilled Job Opportunities

A leading provider of training, qualifications & professional development courses to the Health & Fitness Industry has said they’re shocked by the number of unfilled vacancies in the sector.
A spokesman for Nexus Training based on The Wirral in Merseyside said:
“It’s true that many people are facing uncertain times. Anxiety over careers, housing, BREXIT, Austerity and their futures mean that we’re seeing more & more young people coming to us looking to start a career in the health & personal training industry rather than taking the traditional office based or public sector career paths.
We’re also seeing lots of older active career changers too and we’ve never been busier with our suite of courses up & down the UK, training the Personal Trainers & Gym Instructors of tomorrow.
That’s great & we’re delighted to help them develop their careers, but we were astounded to see that today on a popular jobs website, there’s over 17,200 jobs waiting to be filled in this sector.
In anybody’s book, that’s huge opportunity that’s being missed by young people leaving education & looking for a fantastic non-office-based career or those looking to get out of the 9-5 ratrace.”
According to a 2018 report, the UK leisure sector is valued at just under £5bn with 1 in 7 people belonging to one of the Country’s 7038 gyms.[1]
