EastEnders marks its 25th anniversary and TV Choice recalls some of Albert Squares classic storylines in this weeks issue.
While the Who killed Archie Mitchell? saga is gripping the nation, we look back at other Walford whodunits, including who shot Phil Mitchell? Our trawl through the archives involves plenty of shock revelations, affairs, births, deaths and marriages, including Tiffanys death, Steve Owen murdering girlfriend Saskia, and Zoe learning Kat Slater was her mum.
Another anniversary sees The Brit Awards celebrating 30 years as Britains greatest pop awards, with Pixie Lott, Jay-Z, Kasabian, Lily Allen, and Robbie Williams among those due to perform. Its not so long ago that I used to watch the show to see all the big names. I didnt dare dream that Id ever be joining them, admits chart-topping Pixie Lott.
Theres a crossover storyline in Casualty and Holby City when Charlie Fairhead suffers a heart attack, while former Casualty star Sarah Manners is the latest Sun Hill recruit as she joins The Bill. Former England rugby captain Lawrence Dallaglio explains why he is cycling to all six stadiums in this years Six Nations for charity, and David Mitchell chats about his news-based quiz The Bubble.
Lisa Faulkner tells TV Choice about motherhood and her new series Murdoch Mysteries, while John Barrowman talks about Torchwood: Children Of Earth. Also, John Torode and Gregg Wallace are back with a new series of MasterChef.
In the soaps, a special live episode to mark EastEnders 25th anniversary will reveal the identity of Archie Mitchells killer, while Gail tells Tina about her dads plan to fake his death in Coronation Street. Adam realises he is responsible for contaminating the stream in Emmerdale, and Josh crashes his car after his drink is spiked in Hollyoaks. Zara plans revenge on Judiths husband in Doctors. Libbys marriage is over in Neighbours and falls into Lucas arms, and Geoff has some unexpected news in Home And Away.
We also have a terrific holiday for two to Las Vegas to be won in this weeks TV Choice competition.
