Kathy Gittins Returns to Painting

Posted 2nd December 2009.

Kathys stunning new collection has been made possible by the addition of Tanya to the Oriel team. She has replaced Kathy and released her from gallery duties so that she can escape to her cottage above Abersoch to enjoy the solitude and the precious inspiration for her latest works of art – her long awaited landscapes from the Lleyn Peninsula. She has created a covetable collection of topographical pencil drawings inspired by her love of Pwllheli and the neighbouring villages of Abersoch, Llanbedrog and Morfa Nefyn.

Camilla has been working on her collection since graduating from Manchester in July of this year. She is very excited at the prospect of her first exhibition and of launching her eclectic mix of framed pieces and functional mixed medium works of art. She creates quirky compositions of recycled and vintage materials, consciously using colours and textures to deliver and present highly decorated and unique objects.

Camillas works are both collectable and affordable and will make the most appealing Christmas gifts!
Talking of Christmas gifts, Kathy has sourced a fabulous variety of new and exciting jewellery collections. She has introduced six interesting and diverse designers to the gallery for the festive season and by popular demand has reintroduced two faithful favourites. She is offering a fantastic selection, affordable to everyone, with prices starting from just £5.00 including gift wrap!

Oriel Kathy Gittins 40% Christmas Sale on all Autumn/Winter 2009 clothing collections starts 10.00am Friday 11th December and dont miss the Annette Gortz early spring 2010 collection, which arrives at the gallery in mid December.
Finally, Kathy and her girls at the gallery would like to take this opportunity to thank you most sincerely for your continued support and kindness shown throughout 2009.
We wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
