Roger Daltrey, guitarist for The Who and Patron of Teenage Cancer Trust said, “when we first got together in 2000 to raise money for this brilliant charity, I had no idea we’d achieve so much from these shows. In the last ten years we’ve raised over £8.7 million, helping Teenage Cancer Trust to open nine more specialist cancer units for young people across the UK”. Since its creation in 1990, the charity has opened 14 facility units and aims to build enough, so that by 2012, every teenager in the UK can have access to cancer support.
